Here is a compilation of videos for the 4D Ajax Framework. Many are "How-To" material for Technical Notes and Tech Tips, while others are marketing material for some of our products in the Web 2.0 Pack. Take a look at them for getting a better understanding of the Web 2.0 Pack.

[edit] WebEx Sessions

These are WebEx sessions held to give thorough explanations of the 4D Web 2.0 Pack to customers. Note: You may be prompted to download WebEx's Network Recording Player in order to view these videos.

  • This 4-minute video shows how to convert from a flat HTML table to an Live Ajax Grid [1]. Also, see this link for related code snippets.
  • Add K. demonstrates how he built the extremely popular Vacation Tracker Demo [2]. Add had no JavaScript experience before starting to build this demo, and completed the basic steps to get it working in less than one day.
  • Mr. K. reviews the ins and outs of creating the web portion of the 4D Jukebox demo [3]. Volume is low on this one so please turn your volume up high.
  • Jeremy S. shows how to use arrays using Developer Created Selections in the 4D Ajax Framework. The simple idea is that a group of arrays can be defined as a "Virtual Table". Sorry about the little box in the middle of the screen, this was Jeremy's first attempt and after his 21st try we decided to let it out as is :-) [4]
